pretty in pink is actually by automatic 7,though it sounds a lot like social d til ya figure out that it isnt.
crawl and count to three are screeching weasel songs that sound nothing like social distortion.
shame on me is an acutal social d song. there are a couple of versions floating around on kazaa and limewire one live and the other being a bside from the latest cd.
im not familar with blank. i hope i dont sound like an asshole in this post. that is not my intention.

    BLLuke,
Well I thought I could tell you I have Pretty In Pink but from what dballiance says it's not them. hmmmm.... Who is it?

I'm far from the Social D. experts most of you are but I have a few songs that I ripped from Kazzaa a couple of years ago (I don't use it anymore)

    I Have:
"Pretty in Pink" (though not Social D.)
"The Wanderer" it's marked Live Ritz 1986 but I don't know how accurate that is.
"Bad Moon Rising" Live unknown show or year
"Folsom Prison Blues" Live unknown show or year
"Ball & Chain" Acoustic studio version (not sure if this is rare or not)
(Folsom and Bad Moon are Mike solo I believe)

If anyone wants any we can work out a way to get it to you. Not looking for any money, I can actually email them (mp3s) if your mailbox can handle 3MB.

As I said, these may be "common" to hardcore fans like all of you. I'm a pretty big fan but it's become obvious to me y'all are Bigger Fans than me, but everyday I love social D/ Ness more and more.

    Cheers,
    Tony III

Isn't that actually Lagwagon? Bah! Kazaa! In anycase, there is also a live CBGB version of Sick Girl on Kazaa... I have it if you'd like.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Maybe but it sounds like Mike to me....I have the Lagwagon Studio version of Bad Moon and the live one sounds really different.

Can anyone here verify? I hate having my songs mislabeled, especially when talking to pros like you guys. That's part of the reason I stopped using Kazzaa....

    Cheers,

I think you are right... the one version is Mike Ness. Can't google information about it. Kazaa is the devil. I found The Ramones "Sedated" listed as The Clash once. Oh and the Sick Girls thing, disregard and just buy the CD, right? Meh. All I can do is try!

Social D did play Bad Moon Rising during 1985 - 1987.

The one on Kazza is probably form the Ritz, NY in 1996.

They also played Folsom around the same time and into 1988.

The Acoustic version is probably from the APC studios recording from the Solo tour during 99.

The Sick Girls is from CBGBs in 1992 where Mike changed the lyrics from boy to girl the whole way through the song.
